End of MP 2 Presentations Reflection

The first one of my peer's blogs I looked at was Aliyah. What I learned from here was how to make a better storyboard that would benefit me in a greater way. Instead of drawing pictures she just wrote down how to picture the scene in her mind. For me, personally, I can't draw and I'm better at explaining things with words, so I believe that for my next film I will write down what I see in my mind instead of trying to draw it out.  Aliyah's storyboard The second blog I looked at was Sean Hopkins. From what I read in Sean's blog is that he took a lot of time thinking about the audience. He thought about how to make an entertaining film for people and also give them a story that they may be able to relate to. This is why he made a story about losing a friend. Intention Definition & Exploration of Ideas: Careful analysis and attention has been given to finding an area of digital media to begin a focus on. - My theme is Representations of Everyday Life -When coming up with the idea for this film the idea sparked when I remembered a show I use to watch a long time ago called Wilfred. I wanted to make a film about work-life balance kind of like Wilfred did. In real life, I was trying to figure out the whole work-life balance thing because I got a job over the summer and now I also have to deal with school work. It was hard for me to find time for my hobbies and to just relax. But, after a few months, I got into a good flow by talking to some of my friends who also have jobs.
